Paper Heroes

Paper Heroes is a local card and game shop in Lake Charles, Louisiana. We had a redesign project and I chose their logo because I enjoyed visiting the shop and wanted to see how I could reimagine their logo. In my original iteration I tried to keep the texture from their logo, however as I’ve learned from print I decided to revisit the design a few years ago and fine tune my design with a sharper font and add a little more of a “Super man” curl to the silhouette. The character enveloping the text is meant to be a combination of Bat man and superman without drawing any obvious ties that could cause infringement. With a white circle meant to be a moon to create the dark silhouette.
