Team Independence

A logo for a dog competition team that wanted their logo to reflect a more realistic version of their dog rex. Their previous logo was a bit more on the toon-ish or mascot side, but after getting a few photos from the client I was able to draw their pup and pop him into an emblem. The owner was a retired veteran and wanted to incorporate the American flag in some way so the emblem portion I made to reflect that. In the end after seeing the design he was thrilled and ordered embroidered hats, shirts, and we even made an American flag bandana for his pup.
